Online registration is now open for the 7th Annual Touched By Suicide Walk to be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Bartonville Town Center. Walk-In registration begins at 9:00 AM. The Walk will start at 10:00 AM.
Join others for a time of remembrance of those lost to suicide. Funds raised will be used to work towards the prevention of suicide by supporting local programs and TBS Support Groups including our newest support group, TBS4Teens, for those aged 13 to 17.
Come one, come all -- as we walk in memory of lives lost and in support of efforts to help those struggling with mental illness including depression and other suicidal tendencies.
Every 13.7 minutes someone completes suicide.
Every 13.8 minutes someone else is left to make sense of it.
Every day approximately 105 Americans take their own life, and 2,700 more attempt to do so.
